Senior Occupational Therapist

About the role

Cerebral Palsy Alliance is recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist for its Tuggerah centre, which has a team of eight therapists (OT, SP, EP and PT) serving clients aged 0-65 with cerebral palsy and similar physical disabilities, as well as intellectual, genetic and neurodiverse disabilities. The position is full time but open to part time for the right applicant, with work split between the clinic and community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to clients in the clinic, their homes, schools and preschools and other community settings, based on each client's goals
• Work within a multidisciplinary team of SP, OT, PT and EP therapists
• Deliver evidence-based interventions supported by the Cerebral Palsy Research Institute
• Take part in school holiday intensive therapy groups and monthly on-site equipment clinics with equipment suppliers

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy
• 2+ years of clinical experience; neurological and physical disability experience desirable
• Current AHPRA registration
• Current driver's licence and your own vehicle
• Medium level of physical functionality required

• Clinical salary graded, approximately $90k-$140k including superannuation and tax-free packaging
