Senior Occupational Therapist

About the role

A growing Allied Health Service on the Gold Coast is looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Senior Occupational Therapist to lead its team of junior OTs. The community role works with a mix of NDIS and Home Care Package (HCP) adolescent and adult clients. Salaries start at $95,000-$120,000 plus super depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Help grow and build the team of OTs, training and supporting junior occupational therapists and mentoring OT students
• Take part in business development and give input on templates and protocols
• Assist with hiring to ensure good colleagues join the team
• Keep up to date with compliance and legislative requirements of funding bodies and the occupational therapy field
• Provide clinical therapy and support therapists delivering therapy to clients funded by NDIS, DVA, My Aged Care (HCP) and private payers

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• AHPRA registration
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Driver's licence and own vehicle
