New Graduate Speech Pathologist

About the role

A well-established allied health practice on the Gold Coast, near Varsity Lakes, is looking for a passionate new graduate Speech Pathologist to join its team. The role sits in a mixed-age caseload across clinic and community settings, with full-time and part-time options open to all levels of experience.

Key responsibilities

You will support NDIS and private participants in accessing quality speech pathology services by conducting initial assessments, creating tailored therapy plans, delivering therapy and writing progress notes and reports. You will undergo a comprehensive onboarding with workshadowing, then gradually increase your caseload, with a billable target of 10-12 clients per week initially (about 2-3 clients a day).

The admin team handles service agreements, session scheduling and billing, so you focus on your caseload. Weekly supervision with a senior speech pathologist with 7+ years of experience is provided.

What we offer

Salaries from $80,000 to $95,000 plus superannuation and benefits. A 6-month new graduate learning program with gradual caseload increase and weekly supervision. An uncapped professional development allowance (pro rata) and 2 days of PD leave. Access to a library of DSC training modules and past PD videos, and the option to complete a 12-month BSP course. A small team of 12 allied health practitioners and an open-door policy for support.
