Senior Next.js & React Developer

About the role

Infosys is looking for a highly skilled Next.js and React developer to design, develop and support modern, scalable web applications. The role suits someone with strong expertise in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript and headless CMS architectures, and experience supporting enterprise-grade digital platforms. Exposure to Sitecore XM Cloud and headless implementations is a significant advantage. Location: Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Build high-performance, responsive and accessible user interfaces following modern front-end practices.
• Implement and optimise SSR, SSG and ISR.
• Develop reusable, component-based architectures with React and TypeScript.
• Integrate applications with REST APIs, GraphQL services, authentication platforms and headless CMS solutions.
• Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, architects and business stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide L2/L3 support for enterprise applications.
• Monitor application performance and implement optimisation strategies.
• Manage source code, version control and CI/CD using GitHub and Azure-hosted environments, and take part in code reviews.

Required profile

• 7+ years of overall web application development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on React.js experience.
• 3+ years developing enterprise applications with Next.js.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Preferred: Sitecore XM Cloud, Sitecore Headless, Sitecore Experience Edge, Sitecore JSS, Sitecore Content Modeling, Sitecore Personalization and Sitecore rendering architecture.

Required skills

• Next.js: SSR, SSG, ISR, App Router, API routes, middleware, caching and performance optimisation.
• React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS.
• REST APIs, GraphQL, authentication and authorisation integrations, headless CMS.
• Azure-hosted solutions, GitHub, L2/L3 production support, incident and problem management.

What we offer

• Salary of AUD 108,571 - 119,893 annual gross (indicative).
