Senior Mechanical, Hydraulic & Fire Protection Engineer (Multiple Roles)

About the role

IGS Queensland is seeking experienced senior engineers across mechanical, hydraulic and fire protection disciplines to support its growing portfolio of high‑profile building projects. The roles involve design, coordination and delivery of multidisciplinary services for commercial and residential developments in Queensland.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review detailed design documentation for mechanical, hydraulic and fire protection systems.
• Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards and the National Construction Code.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated building services solutions.
• Manage project deliverables, timelines and client communications.
• Support the growth of the engineering team by mentoring junior staff.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of Australian design experience in the relevant discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of building services and relevant codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
