About the role

Tourism Whitsundays is seeking a proactive, creative and highly organised Senior Marketing Coordinator to showcase one of Australia’s most iconic tourism destinations. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and the broader team, handling a mix of consumer and corporate activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and deliver marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels.
  • Support social media activity, EDM campaigns and website/database maintenance.
  • Write, edit and proof copy for various marketing and communication platforms.
  • Assist with industry engagement, influencer management and event support.

Required profile

  • 2–5+ years experience in marketing, digital marketing or social media.
  • Strong copywriting and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused attitude with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

  • Paid and organic social media management.
  • Foundational SEO and GEO knowledge.
  • No‑code website management.
  • Graphic design using Canva or Adobe Suite.
