Senior Manager Performance Audit

About the role

The Senior Manager will lead the delivery of multiple performance audits across Queensland's public sector, guiding teams through complex analytical work and shaping findings that are tabled in Parliament.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor audit teams, overseeing research, analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and deliver high‑profile performance audits that influence senior decision‑making.
• Assess program and service performance, identifying opportunities for efficiency and public value.
• Collaborate with Directors and Senior Directors on capability development, audit quality and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experience in management consulting, internal audit, program evaluation or related analytical roles.
• Strong critical thinking, professional judgement and ability to work through ambiguity.
• Proven leadership of projects and people, with excellent stakeholder communication skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications.
