Senior Manager – Lending Services (Agri Banking)

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Senior Manager for its Lending Services team in Adelaide. The role focuses on managing high‑risk agricultural customers, applying deep industry knowledge to drive effective workout, turnaround, and remediation strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high‑risk Agri customers, developing and implementing remediation plans.
• Lead detailed financial and credit analysis and prepare high‑quality credit submissions.
• Oversee provisions, maintain disciplined file management, and ensure data integrity.
• Act as the primary relationship manager, engaging directly with Agri customers and internal/external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with experienced banking and insolvency professionals to support learning and growth.

Required profile

• Experience as a Specialist Agri Banker with strong understanding of agricultural production models, risk drivers, and supply‑chain dynamics.
• Critical thinking and ability to develop strategies for complex customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and proven ability to lead workshops as a Trusted Advisor.
• Resilience, curiosity, and proactive mindset in navigating complex situations.
