Senior Manager – Domestic Violence Services

About the role

Women's Safety Services SA is seeking an experienced senior leader to oversee its portfolio of programs that support women and children experiencing domestic and family violence. Reporting to the Director of Services, you will combine strategic thinking with operational leadership to drive high‑quality, client‑centred outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership across multiple programs focused on safety and empowerment.
• Align service delivery with organisational priorities and sector‑leading best practices.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring quality practice and strong operational performance.
• Influence organisational direction and contribute to innovation in domestic violence service delivery.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture that supports professional growth and wellbeing.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading high‑performing teams in a complex community service environment.
• Track record of developing and implementing strategic initiatives, policies and practice frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to design, manage and evaluate services for adults and children affected by domestic and family violence.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills with a focus on trauma‑informed, culturally safe practice.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Social Work, Social Science, Psychology, Counselling) and extensive experience commensurate with senior management.
• National Police Check, Working with Children Check and a valid driver’s licence.
