Casual Robot Companion Facilitator

About the role

Join Andromeda Robotics as a Robot Companion Facilitator, working with the AI companion Abi to engage residents and patients in nursing homes and children’s hospitals through conversation, games, and music.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engaging group sessions with Abi, including games and cognitive activities.
• Facilitate one‑on‑one conversations to enhance participants’ experience.
• Operate Abi, troubleshoot basic issues, and adapt activities to individual needs.
• Manage session logistics: set up equipment, keep to schedule, and provide feedback to care professionals.
• Represent Andromeda Robotics with professionalism, warmth, and innovation.

Required profile

• Excellent people skills – ability to connect with all ages.
• Strong public speaking and confidence presenting to groups.
• Genuine interest in technology and willingness to learn hands‑on.
• Energetic, outgoing personality with a caring, community‑focused attitude.
• Valid driver’s licence and vehicle for travel to multiple locations.
• Availability for 3‑5 days a week, Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm.
• Preferred background in psychology, social work, drama, theatre, or public speaking.
