Senior Manager – CFO Advisory (Finance Transformation)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a senior finance professional to join its CFO Advisory team in Perth. You will help organisations reduce the burden of financial reporting by designing process improvements and technology solutions that align accounting outcomes with commercial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance and accounting advisory projects, including financial reporting, management accounting and budgeting initiatives.
• Identify and implement process and technology improvements to accelerate statutory reporting and compliance.
• Oversee project economics, set team objectives and ensure delivery against client expectations.
• Conduct pitches to prospective clients and support marketing initiatives for new service offerings.
• Provide technical training and mentorship to junior staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, external audit or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent) is required.
• Strong analytical ability to synthesize large data sets and present findings clearly.
• Excellent communication, leadership and project‑management skills.

Required skills

• Finance and accounting advisory expertise.
• Experience with finance transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of the mining industry (highly desirable).
