Senior Loss Adjuster

About the role

Join Sedgwick as a Senior Loss Adjuster and manage a portfolio of domestic home property claims, delivering best‑in‑market service while achieving cost‑effective outcomes. You will work within a supportive, caring culture that values work‑life balance and professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of major and/or complex property claims.
• Review claims for continuous improvement and quality assurance.
• Provide technical support and feedback to the claims team.
• Assist with coaching and training of team members.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends.
• Build and develop strong relationships with clients.
• Act as escalation point for complaints and technical queries.
• Attend stakeholder meetings, conferences and calls as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years adjusting experience.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to manage complaints and disputed claims.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles, policies and regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to analyse data, assess risks and provide effective solutions.
• Experience in relationship building and stakeholder management.
