Senior Legal Officer

About the role

The Senior Legal Officer supports TMGM’s legal and regulatory matters, working under the Legal Lead and partnering with internal teams, headquarters and external advisers across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical legal advice, draft, review and amend legal documents and agreements.
• Review, negotiate and manage third‑party contracts, identifying legal and commercial risks.
• Monitor contract execution and ensure compliance with terms.
• Analyse developments in financial services regulations and advise management on impacts.
• Support regulatory enquiries, licensing applications, renewals and regulatory reporting.
• Act as a point of contact for legal matters across Sales, Marketing, Back Office, Finance and HR.
• Liaise with external counsel, regulators and professional advisers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law; postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in legal practice, compliance or financial services.
• Sound knowledge of financial services regulations, corporate law and governance.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross‑border, multicultural environment.
