Senior IT Support Administrator

About the role

Fugro is seeking an experienced Senior IT Support Administrator to join its Perth team, supporting critical IT systems for marine vessels, remote field environments and geodata workflows. The role ensures safe, efficient and reliable operations worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for end users in the field and as a 2nd‑line escalation point for Support Assistants and Administrators.
• Liaise with Operational Technology Services teams to deploy and monitor standard infrastructure, handle alerts and manage system maintenance tasks such as patching, backup and restore.
• Coordinate hardware purchasing, logistics and system updates in response to monitoring alerts.
• Support cyber‑security initiatives, respond to incidents reported by field personnel and escalate when necessary.
• Generate support activities with external vendors and create IT infrastructure documentation.

Required profile

• Tertiary degree or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields.
• Proven experience in similar roles, preferably within marine/offshore industries, with knowledge of IT service management (ITIL) and ITSM tools.
• Strong communication skills to interact at all organisational levels and produce clear documentation.
