Senior Incident Response Consultant (Remote, Australia)

About the role

Join CrowdStrike as a Senior Incident Response Consultant, delivering reactive and proactive security services across the APJ region. You will work remotely from Australia, collaborating with a high‑performing team to stop sophisticated breaches.

Key responsibilities

• Lead incident response engagements and conduct advanced host and network forensics on Windows, macOS, and Linux systems.
• Advise client organizations during active threat investigations and produce high‑quality reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences.
• Mentor and support less‑experienced team members, and contribute thought leadership through blogs, CrowdCasts, and public speaking.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in incident response, computer and network forensic analysis, and remediation of targeted attacks.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical findings to senior executives.
• Residency in Australia (no visa sponsorship).

Required skills

• Incident response investigations (APT, organized crime, hacktivist threats).
• Forensic tools for Windows, macOS, Linux.
• Network protocol analysis and log examination.
• Threat intelligence and adversary attribution.
• Familiarity with AI‑enhanced decision‑making tools.
• Preferred certifications: GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst (GCFA) or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH).
