Senior Immigration Consultant (Registered Migration Agent)

About the role

KPMG Immigration is a national practice that helps businesses navigate a complex cross-border environment, working with KPMG Taxation and Global Mobility professionals. This Senior Consultant position is an Australian immigration subject-matter expert based in Perth, working closely with senior leaders, immigration consultants and managers.

Key responsibilities

• Apply strong immigration technical skills, especially in employer migration and the preparation of visa applications.
• Develop strong client relationships with senior-level clients.
• Understand KPMG's broad service offerings so that business opportunities can be identified on engagements.
• Share migration insights and tailor communication for subject-matter experts and clients.
• Work in the details with a proactive attitude towards accuracy and deadlines, and own high-profile projects.

Required profile

• Must be a Registered Migration Agent.
• Sound understanding of immigration legislation and a desire to learn more.
• Proven technical ability across a broad range of immigration matters and visa subclasses, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team, including supervising the work of immigration consultants.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to balance priorities, meet deadlines and manage time.
