Senior HVAC Commissioning Technician

About the role

Crest, a well-known brand in the air conditioning industry, is looking for a Senior HVAC Technician with experience in commissioning, or an HVAC Commissioning Technician, to join its team working across the Greater Sydney metropolitan area on commercial projects. The employer is a highly regarded Construction Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Site start-up, implementation and commissioning
• Work with Project Managers on the commissioning schedule
• Test and balance air and water distribution systems for HVAC plant
• Fault finding, diagnosis, reporting and rectification of issues
• Coordinate with suppliers on technical details
• Liaise with and coordinate onsite commissioning subcontractors
• Create and implement Standard Operating and Maintenance Manuals
• Mentor and coach team members
• Ensure awareness and practice of WHS compliance

Required profile

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
• Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick licence)
• Australian citizen or permanent resident with unlimited working rights in Australia
• Proven track record in the Australian HVAC market

• Good communication skills with a strong customer focus
• Interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships at all levels
• Ability to manage a wide range of projects and adapt to challenging environments
