Senior Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

South Metropolitan Health Service is seeking a Senior Human Resources (HR) Business Partner for a permanent full-time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight. The role leads and coordinates complex HR management issues by partnering with managers and directors and giving them professional, technical and strategic advice and support so they can manage their teams and meet service objectives. It is open to candidates with valid Australian work rights.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers and directors to give professional, technical and strategic advice and support on HR matters.
• Manage complex and sensitive employee matters, including case management of conduct, grievances and other workplace-related issues.
• Work in line with the WA Health Code of Conduct and the service's values of care, integrity, respect, excellence and teamwork.

Required profile

• Contemporary HR Business Partnering experience managing complex and sensitive employee matters, including conduct and grievance cases.
• Highly developed communication, consultation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and guide senior stakeholders and build collaborative relationships.
• Alignment with organisational values and ethical standards, and a positive contribution to workplace culture.
