Senior HR Manager - Change Implementation

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Senior HR Manager to join its People Function team, based in the Pacific region. The role is hybrid, with at least three days a week spent in the office, and focuses on implementing legislative, policy and process changes across the Pacific. It combines HR generalist expertise, project delivery, communication and support for employee relations matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of legislative, policy and process changes across the Pacific People Function, meeting timeframes, obligations and stakeholder requirements.
• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of significant regional changes, partnering with relevant Centres of Excellence and colleagues.
• Develop clear communications for People Function colleagues, People Managers and others.
• Design and deliver training on changes for Marsh audiences as needed.
• Manage employee relations matters and HR case work where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve People Services processes and help define and implement practical enhancements.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in HR, Psychology, Business or equivalent experience as an HR generalist.
• Demonstrated experience across the breadth of HR activity, with sound judgement and the ability to work with limited supervision.
• Proven experience managing stakeholders, building working relationships and influencing across teams.
• Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and regulation; knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation is highly regarded.

Required skills

• Well-developed project management and prioritisation skills, able to manage multiple activities and deadlines.
• Ability to design communication or training materials for a range of audiences (a standout feature).
