Senior Geotechnical Engineer

About the role
Engeny is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join its Brisbane team. Reporting to the Discipline Leader, you will deliver geotechnical support across Australia, ensuring projects meet schedule, budget and technical standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage geotechnical projects from inception to completion, both locally and nationally.
- Conduct geotechnical analyses, geological and geotechnical modelling, and detailed design.
- Prepare project deliverables, including technical reports, financial tracking and administrative documentation.
- Perform site investigations, supervise field work and conduct construction support inspections.
- Develop project proposals that drive innovative, practical and sustainable outcomes.
- Support client management, business development and mentor junior staff.
Required profile
- 7+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably within the resources sector.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
- RPEQ and CPENG desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience with water infrastructure (tailings, dams) and knowledge of ANCOLD guidelines.
- Proven project management capability for medium to large projects.
- Willingness to travel to sites in Central and Northern Queensland.
