Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

AutoGrab is building the infrastructure for the future of vehicle trading and needs a senior engineer to drive the next evolution of its platform. You will design and deliver high‑quality web, mobile and backend systems while setting technical standards for the team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web and mobile applications using React, React Native, TypeScript and Node.js, plus backend services on PostgreSQL and GCP.
• Own features end‑to‑end from architecture and design through implementation, testing, deployment and optimisation.
• Set code‑quality standards, conduct code reviews and ensure testing, security, reliability and performance.
• Mentor and guide engineers through pairing, knowledge‑sharing and coaching.
• Collaborate with product, design, sales and operations to define and deliver meaningful features.
• Implement security and data‑protection measures and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, CI/CD improvements and scalable system design.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues, taking ownership of problems and delivering solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years as a senior software engineer with strong front‑end and back‑end capabilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience owning significant product features from concept to production.
• Track record of mentoring and uplifting engineering teams.
