Senior Finance Analyst - Transformation

About the role

Endeavour Group, which owns brands such as Dan Murphy's, BWS, ALH Hotels and Pinnacle Drinks, is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to support the financial performance of major business initiatives across the group. The role works closely with the Senior Finance Manager and stakeholders, turning complex financial data into commercial insights. It is based in Sydney or Melbourne with hybrid working.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis, modelling and reporting to track the performance and financial benefits of key business initiatives.
• Monitor actual financial performance against budgets, forecasts and business case assumptions, identifying variances and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with Finance teams and project stakeholders to validate financial assumptions, assess investment returns and ensure benefits are accurately captured.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts and reporting frameworks to measure project performance and P&L impacts.
• Analyse complex financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and turn findings into actionable recommendations.
• Prepare financial reports and dashboards for senior leadership, investment decisions and business performance reviews.
• Support the development and evaluation of business cases, and identify improvements to financial reporting and performance tracking.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualified, with 6+ years' experience in financial analysis, management accounting or commercial finance.
• Experience developing business cases, evaluating investments and tracking financial performance.
• Commercially minded, with strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the business.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on experience in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and P&L analysis.
• Ability to analyse complex financial data and identify variances.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
