Senior Field Technician I Albany

About the role

nbn is looking for a Senior Field Technician based in the Albany area. As part of a field service team, you will deliver end-to-end service to homes and businesses across Australia, from installation to repair and maintenance, working across the network and in customers' premises. The role is permanent and full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Work with a field service team to provide timely, high-quality service to customers, from installation through to repair and maintenance.
• Deliver service to homes and businesses across the nation, collaborating with a supportive team that offers coaching, mentorship and career progression.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with copper and fibre network assurance, fault finding and installs.
• An ACMA licence, preferably with a Certificate III or IV in telecommunications.
• Current driver's licence.
• Availability to work required hours within the 7am to 7pm timeslot and to travel to work areas away from your home.
• Full working rights in Australia; a criminal history check and pre-employment medical assessment are required.

Required skills

• Copper and fibre network fault finding and installation.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving and comfort working to tight deadlines.
