Senior Farm Hand - Broadacre Cropping, Esperance Region

About the role

A progressive 7,000ha broadacre cropping enterprise in the Esperance region, a valued long-term client of Rural Enterprises, is seeking an experienced Senior Farm Hand. The role covers all aspects of the cropping program, using modern CASE machinery, and supports seasonal staff during busy periods. It is advertised as a long-term position.

Key responsibilities

• Seeding, spraying and harvest operations
• Machinery operation and maintenance
• General farm duties and property maintenance
• Assisting with coordination of casual staff
• Developing skills and taking on more responsibility within the business

Required profile

• Broadacre cropping experience preferred
• Competent machinery operator
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Spraying experience highly desirable
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Motivated and able to work independently
• Non-smoker preferred
