Senior Engineer – Urban Development

About the role

Egis Group is seeking a technically excellent Senior Engineer to join its Queensland Urban Development team in Brisbane. You will lead complex urban development projects across Queensland, delivering high‑quality client solutions from feasibility through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise across the project lifecycle, including feasibility studies, concept and detailed design, construction administration and certification.
• Lead proposal development, fee estimation, methodology design, client liaison and contract negotiation.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings with clients, internal Egis disciplines and external consultants.
• Manage project budgets, monitor time and cost performance, and communicate scope changes to clients.
• Review technical deliverables such as reports, detailed designs and quality assurance data to ensure compliance with standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on urban development in Queensland.
• Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) or willingness to obtain certification.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects to meet client objectives.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and business development.
