Senior Engineer – DevOps & Platform Engineering

About the role

The Senior Engineer – DevOps & Platform Engineering will design, build and evolve the engineering platforms, automation frameworks and operational tooling that support the Equities Trading Technology ecosystem. This is a hands‑on role focused on platform enablement rather than routine infrastructure administration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead DevOps and Platform Engineering practices across development, testing and operations teams.
• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code patterns and reusable deployment templates.
• Design and maintain observability solutions including monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting.
• Integrate security controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle (DevSecOps).
• Support incident response, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement of production reliability.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in platform engineering, automation and DevOps within a complex, high‑throughput environment.
• Proven ability to collaborate with software engineers, architects, cyber‑security and production assurance teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a focus on improving delivery quality and operational resilience.

Required skills

• CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Monitoring, logging and tracing tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Security scanning and policy enforcement tools.
• Automation scripting and tooling development.
• Experience with cloud and on‑premises deployment environments.
