Senior Engineer, Bridges & Civil Structures

About the role

As a Senior Engineer in our Bridges and Civil Structures team based in Brisbane, you will contribute to projects that make a real difference. You will join a collaborative environment that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineers solutions with people and outcomes in mind.

Key responsibilities

• Design and assess bridges and civil structures.
• Advise clients on complex engineering projects from concept through delivery.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges.
• Deliver high‑quality advice that informs decision‑making.
• Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions.
• Apply advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering qualifications with experience in bridge design and assessment.
• CPEng and RPEQ registration (pre‑requisite).
• Advanced skills in structural bridge engineering using industry‑standard software.
• Proven track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes.
• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Ability to see the big picture, challenge assumptions and mentor junior engineers.
