Senior Director of Operations, Australia, New Zealand and Pacific

About the role

The Senior Director of Operations will lead Rooms, Food & Beverage and Quality Assurance functions across all hotel brands in the Australia, New Zealand and Pacific market. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure that corporate programs, processes and initiatives are effectively implemented at the property level, driving operational excellence and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Rooms Operations, Food & Beverage Operations and International Quality Assurance for the assigned market.
• Ensure seamless pull‑through of corporate programs and initiatives at each property.
• Collaborate with property management teams to troubleshoot operational issues.
• Lead technical training and uphold International SOP standards.
• Manage pre‑opening projects, hotel conversions and the development of effective F&B concepts.
• Supervise front office, housekeeping, spa and recreation services.
• Develop and monitor operating plans, budgets and capital expenditures.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years progressive experience in the hotel industry, with a focus on Rooms and F&B operations.
• College degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience in the ANZP market; prior General Manager experience is an advantage.
• Proven ability to understand and manage contracts, budgets and capital projects.
• Strong presentation and public‑speaking skills.
