Senior DevOps Engineer - Operations

About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior DevOps Engineer – Operations to lead our Managed Service Platform on AWS. You will own the full lifecycle of platform components, drive continuous improvement, and act as a trusted technical advisor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operation, maintenance and performance of complex AWS environments, acting as primary escalation point for incidents.
• Manage identity and access controls, enforce least‑privilege principles and oversee security governance.
• Drive cost‑optimisation initiatives using FinOps best practices and implement AWS Well‑Architected Framework recommendations.
• Oversee platform lifecycle management including upgrades, patching and security updates with minimal disruption.
• Mentor and develop a high‑performing cloud engineering team while building strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience designing, managing and optimising AWS cloud environments at scale.
• Proven track record leading and mentoring technical teams in Cloud, DevOps or Managed Services.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to translate complex technical concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot, manage incidents and perform under pressure.
