Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at AP+, you will design, build, and continuously improve the infrastructure and integration pipelines that power secure, scalable, and high‑performing software delivery across our payments environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain complex software components, scripts and integration services using secure, standardized engineering practices.
• Provision, configure and optimise infrastructure across physical, virtual and cloud environments with a focus on performance, security and resilience.
• Build automation to eliminate repetitive administration, improve deployment efficiency and ensure consistent engineering outcomes.
• Coordinate release and deployment activities, including testing, quality assurance and issue resolution for production readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in a DevOps or equivalent engineering role, preferably in technology‑driven environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, mentor junior engineers and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Experience with AI‑enabled tools for software delivery and responsible application of automation.

Required skills

• AWS (preferred) and GCP cloud platforms.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools: Terraform, OpenTofu, CDK.
• Scripting languages: Bash, Python, Go.
• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred) and automation frameworks.
• Container orchestration: Kubernetes, ECS.
• Observability and security tooling: Dynatrace, Wiz, ArgoCD.
