Senior Designer – Civil Drafter/Designer

About the role

Based in our Brisbane office, ADG is looking for a Drafter/Designer – Civil to join the team. You will create detailed civil designs and documentation for earthworks, drainage, road and sewer projects, ensuring they meet Australian standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil designs and construction documentation using 12D, AutoCAD and related software.
• Monitor project scope, quality, cost and schedule to deliver profitable outcomes.
• Track progress and report on quality, costs and timelines.
• Collaborate with internal and external disciplines to ensure coordinated design deliverables.
• Apply construction methodology knowledge to inform design decisions.
• Support the preparation of fee proposals and tender submissions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years experience in earthworks, drainage, road and sewer/water design.
• Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent (or currently completing).
• Strong understanding of local authority drafting requirements and Australian Standards.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and allocate time effectively.
