Senior Design Engineer

About the role

The Senior Design Engineer will lead the development and refinement of innovative engineering solutions across multiple projects, overseeing the design process from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Present creative and practical engineering design concepts and manage the engineering & drafting team.
• Coordinate design projects, create detailed plans, and approve product design changes.
• Prepare project budgets, schedules, cost analyses and manage resources for new product development.
• Work closely with manufacturing to create prototypes, ensure designs are manufacturable, and conduct field testing.
• Lead weekly engineering meetings, conduct quality assurance checks, and ensure on‑time project delivery.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Business Development, and Operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing complex design projects.
• Strong technical advisory skills and up‑to‑date knowledge of engineering developments.
• Ability to coordinate budgets, schedules, and resources for both OPEX and CAPEX assets.
• Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous professional development.
