Senior DBT Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DBT Data Engineer to design, develop and maintain scalable data transformation pipelines. The role focuses on building reliable data models, ensuring data quality, and integrating with cloud data platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain dbt‑based transformation pipelines and complex SQL models.
• Implement dbt features such as macros, snapshots, seeds, tests and incremental models.
• Optimize data models and queries for performance and cost, including CDC and incremental loading.
• Integrate dbt with cloud warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, BI developers and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• 8+ years of data engineering experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with dbt (Core or Cloud) and advanced SQL.
• Experience with modern cloud data warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python for data automation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
