Senior Data Scientist

About the role

Tracksuit is building a new Marketing Science function that turns its unique longitudinal brand dataset into rigorous, ownable intellectual property. As a Senior Data Scientist you will sit at the analytical core of this small, research‑led team, helping to prove brand‑growth hypotheses with data‑driven evidence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute rigorous analyses on Tracksuit’s brand dataset to test hypotheses, identify patterns, and uncover repeatable brand behaviours.
• Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Science Strategist to develop and validate analytical frameworks that support flagship research.
• Ensure methodological clarity, reproducibility, and transparent treatment of uncertainty for high‑impact studies that may be cited in trade press or presented at industry conferences.
• Build internal learning infrastructure and reusable analytical tools that enable the team to scale research efforts.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a data scientist or quantitative researcher, preferably in a marketing or consumer‑brand context.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on methodological rigour and reproducibility.
• Ability to translate complex data insights into clear, evidence‑backed arguments for senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Statistical analysis and experimental design.
• Data manipulation and modelling using programming languages (e.g., Python, R) or equivalent tools.
• Experience with large, longitudinal datasets.
