About the role
A major Australian retailer is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join its data transformation program. This is a hands-on engineering role, with a 3-month initial contract running until the end of February, followed by a possible transition to a permanent position. The work is hybrid, with 3 days in the office in Melbourne, and an ASAP start, ideally within 2 weeks.
Required profile
- Strong hands-on experience with dbt, Airflow and Snowflake
- Solid experience across data ingestion and transformation
- Comfortable getting into the detail and building data pipelines, rather than focusing mainly on stakeholder management
