Senior CRM Insights Analyst (Contract)

About the role

Greencross Pet Wellness Company, Australia's leading pet care network, is offering a 3-month contract for a Senior CRM Insights Analyst based in its North Ryde support office. Reporting to the Senior CRM Insights Manager, the role helps turn customer insight into measurable commercial action around engagement, retention and growth, using data from the Friends for Life loyalty program, retail and vet transactions and digital engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, transform and analyse complex customer, loyalty, campaign and transactional datasets using SQL and related analytics tools
• Work with senior stakeholders to understand business priorities, shape analytical briefs and turn data into commercially actionable recommendations
• Design, manage and interpret CRM test-and-control activity, campaign measurement and customer engagement reporting
• Create insight narratives and data visualisations for senior management and cross-functional teams
• Improve customer segmentation, targeting, retention, lifecycle engagement and supplier-funded CRM activity
• Automate repetitive reporting and analytical processes, and share technical knowledge across the team

Required profile

• Passion for a career in Business Insights, with strong technical, analytical and commercial experience
• Confident working with complex data, engaging stakeholders and turning analysis into recommendations
• Previous experience in a Senior Business Analyst role
• Commercial acumen, ideally from retail, FMCG, supplier-funded marketing, customer analytics or a related environment

Required skills

• Advanced SQL, including segmentation, joining complex tables, data transformation, quality checking and repeatable workflows
• Analysis of large customer, loyalty, transactional or longitudinal datasets
• Reporting and visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar
• Ability to tell a clear, compelling story with data and recommendations
• Automation of data extraction, reporting or analytical processes
