Senior Corporate Communications Advisor

About the role

Transurban is looking for a Senior Advisor, Communications to bring the company’s story to life through audience‑led communications. The role will develop and deliver impactful content that builds trust, supports business priorities and strengthens connections with employees and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver audience‑focused communication plans and content aligned with business priorities and company strategy.
• Create engaging stories, campaigns and multimedia content across multiple channels to showcase Transurban’s purpose and achievements.
• Provide strategic communications advice to leaders and support business‑unit, people‑leader and corporate initiatives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders on issues‑management communications and business‑need support.
• Use audience insights, data and performance metrics to measure effectiveness and continuously improve outcomes.
• Build strong relationships across Corporate Affairs, business units and specialist teams to ensure aligned communications.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing and delivering communication strategies for diverse audiences in a complex organisation.
• Strong written, verbal and editorial skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging messages.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders and advise senior leaders.
• Experience using audience insights and data to shape communications and drive improvement.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
