Senior Consultant – Tax & Legal Advisory

About the role

WTS Australia is seeking a full‑time Senior Consultant to join its Sydney office. The role involves advising clients on complex tax and legal matters, delivering clear and commercially relevant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client engagements, conduct technical research and prepare high‑quality advisory reports.
• Present recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to practice development initiatives.
• Support business development through proposal preparation and client relationship building.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in tax advisory and compliance, especially corporate, international or indirect tax.
• Proficiency in legal and regulatory analysis, including interpreting legislation and case law.
• Experience in consulting, client relationship management and delivering practical recommendations.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Accounting, Taxation or related fields; professional accreditation is a plus.
