Senior Consultant – Strategy & Transformation

About the role

This senior consulting position is based in Melbourne and focuses on strategy and transformation projects for government, justice, community services and not‑for‑profit organisations. You will help clients navigate complex change, redesign operating models and deliver lasting business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic transformation programmes and organisational change initiatives.
• Assist clients in reviewing and improving operating models, governance structures and business processes.
• Develop high‑quality deliverables such as reports, business cases, presentations and recommendations.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews and consultation sessions.
• Manage project activities, timelines and key deliverables.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and project sponsors.
• Identify opportunities to improve organisational effectiveness and service outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project results.
• Support business development, proposal preparation and thought‑leadership initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in consulting, advisory or professional services.
• Exposure to strategy, transformation, organisational change or process improvement programmes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
