Senior Consultant – Public Sector Recruitment

About the role

Randstad is looking for an organised, relationship‑driven Senior Consultant to take over a high‑performing public sector desk in Perth. You will manage a warm, high‑volume portfolio of government contracts, delivering end‑to‑end recruitment without the need for cold business development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a premier warm desk, delivering full recruitment cycles for business support roles (admin, HR, procurement, technology support).
• Conduct 4–6 face‑to‑face client visits per week to deepen relationships and expand contacts within panel accounts.
• Nurture contractor networks, capture leads, and obtain early information on upcoming roles.
• Maintain high‑touch administrative portals and recruitment spreadsheets, ensuring 100% compliance with government contract frameworks.
• Provide accurate reporting and forecasting to internal and client stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of agency or internal recruitment experience.
• Self‑motivated professional who thrives on autonomy and takes pride in detailed work.
• Excellent spreadsheet skills and ability to manage large volumes of data.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Public sector exposure in WA is highly desirable but not mandatory.
