About the role
KPMG Mid-Markt Private is seeking a Senior Consultant to provide technical indirect tax support across GST, stamp duty and land tax for a diverse client portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical advice on indirect taxes (GST, stamp duty, land tax) across all jurisdictions to BTA teams.
- Manage client relationships and deliver commercial, pragmatic tax solutions.
- Advise on cross‑border transactions, business structuring, M&A, asset restructuring, succession and wealth planning.
- Conduct tax due diligence and support revenue office reviews and audits.
Required profile
- Experience in a professional services firm or tax authority (e.g., ATO or state revenue offices).
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with ability to build relationships.
- Eagerness to develop technical capabilities and pursue continuous professional development.
Required skills
- In‑depth knowledge of GST, stamp duty and land tax.
- Understanding of cross‑border transactions, M&A and tax due diligence.
