Audit & Assurance Associate

About the role

Join Grant Thornton Australia as an Audit & Assurance Associate, balancing remote work with collaborative team days. You will deliver independent statutory audits for a diverse client base, providing actionable insights and adding value to their financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Drive independent statutory audits for public listed, unlisted, proprietary, not‑for‑profit and government entities.
• Create complete and accurate audit work papers and identify client financial risks.
• Analyse financial statements to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Investigate technical and application issues to improve client outcomes.
• Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.

Required profile

• Experience in an audit & assurance environment with solid knowledge of IFRS.
• CA/CPA full qualification or equivalent overseas qualification.
• Strong client relationship and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
