Senior Consultant – Governance, Risk & Compliance

About the role

The Senior Consultant – GRC will work with CyberCX clients to identify, assess and manage cyber security risk within the Governance, Risk and Compliance domain. You will lead projects, produce high‑quality reports and help develop strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cyber security projects focused on governance, risk and compliance for a diverse client base.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on security issues, recommendations and solutions.
• Collaborate with sales, solutions and marketing teams to support client engagements.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
• Minimum three years of experience delivering information security projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently on complex GRC assignments.

Required skills

• Knowledge of major security frameworks: NIST, ISM, PCI DSS, Essential Eight, PSPF.
• Relevant certifications such as CISM, CISA, CISSP or ISO LA/LI.
• Understanding of Governance, Risk and Compliance principles.
