Senior Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

Join Suntory Oceania as a Senior Commercial Finance Manager, partnering with the Licensed Sales team to drive strategic business decisions through financial leadership and analysis. This permanent, senior‑level position reports to the Commercial Finance Director – Sales and works closely with senior stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Licensed Sales leadership to identify commercial opportunities, mitigate risks and optimise performance.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Commercial Managers and Analysts.
• Provide value‑adding analysis on customers, channels, pricing, promotions and trading terms.
• Own forecasting, budgeting and tracking of Australian net‑sales performance.
• Deliver monthly financial reporting and insights to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified.
• Experience partnering with sales/commercial teams in FMCG or alcohol industry.
• Proven leadership with ability to coach high‑performing finance teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence to influence decision‑making.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Strong Excel capability.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
