Senior Clinical Pharmacist – Rehabilitation & ABI

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical pharmacist to step into a senior leadership role within Alfred Health’s Rehabilitation and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) services. You will provide high‑level pharmacy care to a diverse patient group across inpatient and outpatient programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level clinical pharmacy services to patients in the Rehabilitation and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) units, including musculoskeletal, spinal, burns and neuro‑rehabilitation programmes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on ward rounds, medication reviews and discharge planning.
• Lead and mentor junior pharmacists and pharmacy assistants, ensuring safe and effective medicines use.
• Contribute to service development, research and education initiatives within the department.

Required profile

• Registered pharmacist with extensive experience in clinical pharmacy, preferably in rehabilitation or neuro‑rehabilitation settings.
• Demonstrated leadership, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and research.

Required skills
