Senior Clinical Leader - AOD Services

About the role

A senior clinical leader is sought to shape Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) services across the Mid North Coast, leading a multidisciplinary team and driving outcomes for individuals, families and communities. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the role balances leadership, clinical oversight and stakeholder engagement. It suits someone who enjoys developing people and improving services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support a multidisciplinary clinical team of clinicians, case managers and peer workers.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based and trauma-informed services.
• Drive program performance, quality improvement and service outcomes.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and referral pathways across the region.
• Guide clinical practice, support service development and help programs meet the evolving needs of the community.

Required profile

• Qualifications in Counselling, Nursing, Psychology or Social Work.
• Strong background in AOD, mental health or related community services.
• Experience leading and developing clinical teams.
• Commitment to person-centred, recovery-oriented and trauma-informed practice.

Required skills

• Program delivery, service improvement and quality assurance experience.
• Stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills.
• Ability to balance clinical leadership with operational oversight and community engagement.
