Rehabilitation Consultant

About the role

Join IPAR, a national occupational rehabilitation provider, as a Rehabilitation Consultant in Coffs Harbour, NSW. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored occupational rehabilitation services across a variety of schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload with support from Rehabilitation Assistants and apply clinical expertise to improve return‑to‑work outcomes.
• Conduct clinical and vocational assessments, including initial, workplace, functional capacity, ADL and vocational assessments.
• Partner with employers, employees, insurers and healthcare professionals to deliver injury prevention and workplace education programs.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
• General or provisional registration with AHPRA, or eligibility for ASORC membership.
• Excellent communication, empathy and strong time‑management skills.
• Current NSW driver’s licence and access to a fully insured car.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and case management in occupational rehabilitation.
• Ability to identify barriers and design practical solutions for recovery and return‑to‑work.
