Occupational Therapist (Adelaide)

About the role

Aspect (Autism Spectrum Australia), a not-for-profit provider of autism-specific services and one of the largest autism-specific school programs in Australia, is looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join its Adelaide team. This is a permanent, part-time role of 2 or 3 days per week, with a varied, community-based caseload managed independently within a collaborative clinical team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver therapy supports to 3 to 4 participants per day in community settings
• Develop practical, goal-focused intervention plans
• Work with families, carers and support networks to build strengths-based, functional strategies
• Help participants develop independence and everyday life skills in their home, school or community
• Work autonomously in the community and as part of a supportive team

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Full AHPRA registration
• Current and valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle (km and tolls reimbursed)
• Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) and Working With Children Check (state-based)
• Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module (Quality, Safety and You)
• Current RRHAN-EC certification (South Australia) or willingness to obtain it, and international police check if required
