About the role
A leading Building Services Design Consultancy in Sydney is looking for a highly skilled Hydraulic Engineer to lead high-profile Class 2 hydraulic projects across commercial, residential and mixed-use developments. The role involves direct work with clients, architects and builders, mentoring junior engineers and offering clear career progression.
Key responsibilities
- Lead hydraulic design for Class 2 projects from concept to completion
- Manage client relationships and ensure projects meet expectations for quality, timeline and budget
- Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence within the team
- Ensure all designs comply with Australian standards, codes and sustainability requirements
Required profile
- 7+ years' experience in hydraulic design within the Building Services industry
- Degree in Mechanical, Building Services or Hydraulic Engineering (or similar)
- Proven ability to manage projects and deliver on client expectations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Chartered (CPEng) status or being working towards it is highly regarded
