Senior Claims Advisor – Financial Lines

About the role

Marsh is seeking a Senior Claims Advisor to join its Financial Lines team. This hybrid role requires at least three days per week in the Barangaroo office and involves managing D&O, Professional Indemnity and other Financial Lines claims for SME to large corporate and ASX‑listed clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Financial Lines claims with a focus on client advocacy and quality service.
• Support clients from initial notification through settlement, providing clear advice and protecting their interests.
• Provide guidance on policy coverage and interpretation, including handling indemnity declines.
• Respond to client and broker queries and liaise with insurers, claimants and external service providers.
• Manage moderate to complex claims in line with company processes and Client Service Agreements.
• Identify matters for referral and collaborate with the Advocacy team on claims‑related issues.

Required profile

• Experience in insurance claims, ideally within Financial Lines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, insurers and other stakeholders.
• Experience managing claims with attention to process, detail and client outcomes.
